Say YES to Life!

Following graduation from Cincinnati Christian University, Dan moved to Atlanta and, over the course of eleven years, led in the growth of one of the largest youth ministries in the region at Mount Carmel Christian Church. The program involved 200 students and 75 adult volunteers.

Dan helped form Arrive Alive, a national awareness campaign about teen driver safety, including drinking and driving. As the principal speaker for this group, Dan addressed over one million students around the nation.

Dan has delivered the "Say YES to Life!" program to hundreds of thousands of students and adults in camps, conferences and schools.

"Home Team" Seminar
has equipped and encouraged 10,000 teens and parents around the nation.

As Senior Minister of Spring Road Christian Church, Dan led in the  revitalization and growth of this Alabama congregation from 70 to over 300 people, expanding the missions outreach and constructing a multi-million dollar outreach facility.

Returning to Atlanta in 2003, Dan and his family began the tough work of starting a church in the financial and business district. Christian Church Buckhead grew from 0 to 150 involved members in two years. This diverse and dynamic church family is growing and serving the metropolitan area.

As Executive Director of the Henry Medical Center Foundation, Dan solicited hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts for this non-profit community hospital in suburban Atlanta. He increased the funding capacity and community presence by building advisory boards comprised of area leaders as well as initiating Estate Planning Seminars and VIP events, with notable success in his physician campaign.

"Dan Garrett is a dedicated leader and a thoughtful, creative and funny speaker, but more importantly he's a man of integrity whose faith and values affect everything he does."

~Dr. David Faust, President, Cincinnati Christian University
